The region between the Allentown /Bethlehem, Wilkes-Barre / Scranton and Reading Metros is quite unique and very unusual.
Although each of those Metros possess a wide variety of powerful radio stations, none of them effectively and efficiently impact the East Central Pennsylvania region. In addition, the high rates combined with the “outer” market mentality of these same stations often mean that the advertising message is not being heard or reacted upon which makes marketing costs expensive in relation to their true impact.
Our region is primarily encompassed by two counties…Carbon and Schuylkill. However, the perimeter of the “inbetween” market extends to Northern Berks, Southern Luzerne and Northwestern Lehigh counties. In reality, the coverage area of WMGH and WLSH fits perfectly between the three major metros in this area of the state.
